The table below illustrates the cards to be deployed in each 6509 Voice Gateway, and how each type of voice service (i.e local, long distance, voice mail) would be evenly distributed across each gateway for maximum availability. In addition, these services could also be distributed across cards to minimize the impact of a single card failure.
