The EV-400AF begins with superior image quality.  Elmo utilizes one of the finest 1/2" CCD (sensor) chips available.  A 410,000 pixel chip yielding over 450 lines of horizontal resolution produces outstanding contrast and picture quality when capturing all types of 3D objects, slides, transparences, and opaque presentation materials.

Remote Control Capability
Control and communication have never been more convenient with either the built-in RS-232C port or the 8 pin DIN plug.  The RS-232C serial control allows the accessibility of all the command functions from any PC or remote control system.  The 8 pin plug serves as the receptacle for the optional remote control units, which allows complete control capability of the EV-400AF from a remote area.

Upper and Base Fluorescent Lighting
The EV-400AF comes with color tuned upper and lower fluorescent lighting to insure proper white balance and color saturation in any room lighting environment.

Auto Focus for ease of use
Auto Focus stands out as being one of the more desirable features on the EV-400AF.   You have the option of auto or manual focus for greater flexibility.

8X Powered Zoom
8x magnification, Elmo features a built in 8x power zoom function which allows the capture of a 2 x 2 slide or up to a 12.6" x 9.4" size object.

S-video, Color/B&W Selection
Additional features include composit and S-VHS(Y/C) outputs along with a passive video selector controller for two other external video sources.  When viewing black and white objects or documents, the convenient black and white switch allows for improved clarity, and contrast without color.  The negative/positive switch, microphone input, genlock feature, monitor TV shoe mount, auto white balance with color correction and auto/manual iris control have set a standard in which all full size Elmo Visual Presenter's feature including the EV-400AF.
