Gentner AP10 Telephone Interface

Telephone interface for the Audio Perfect TM System
The Audio Perfect
TM 10 (AP10) is specifically designed as the telephone interface portion of an Audio Perfect system. The AP10 is used in Audio Perfect systems that require audio conferencing participants to be connected via a telephone line. The AP10 is easy to install and simple to operate while providing the highest possible audio quality available today for single telephone line conferencing. The AP10 provides audio for telephone connections with a bandwidth of 250Hz 3.SkHz, which, by the way, is the bandwidth of a standard telephone line. In addition, the AP10, with the AP800, provides "phone-add" capability for video conferencing, otherwise known as simultaneous two-wire/four wire operation, meaning anyone with a telephone can be mixed into a videoconference. Among the possible participants in a phone-add to a videoconference are traveling board members, executives and salespeople, home-bound or hospitalized individuals, and invited customers and vendors.

Multiple telephone lines can be conferenced
The AP10's component design allows multiple telephone lines to be conferenced into an Audio Perfect system. Up to 16 AP10s can be added, conferenced and controlled in an Audio Perfect system. The AP10 is fully remote controllable. A rear panel G Link provides system-wide control by popular remote control systems such as Crestron. Each AP10 in an Audio Perfect system may be addressed and controlled individually. The G Link also provides access to DTMF (touch tone) dialing to enable the user to dial telephone numbers or issue tones to access voice mail systems.

Several operational options
The AP10 has several operational options that are selected via the dip switches behind the front panel access door. These options are configured at the time of installation and include Device Identification, Receive AGC, Auto-Answer, Auto-Disconnect, Disconnect on Loop or Loop and Call Progression, Self Adapt or Noise Adapt, and Momentary or Latching On/Off Control.

So relax! AP10 will handle your most demanding telephone interface requirements.
